FAQS

WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS FLASH DRIVE?

Flash drives from URFlash are enabled with our patented AVDA (Audio/Video/Data/Authoring) process.  This means the device has the ability to deliver various types of media across multiple playback devices.  You can plug this drive into most devices with USB ports.

IS THIS DEVICE SAFE FROM VIRUSES/MALWARE?

Yes!  Our Devices are authored on machines that perform Department of Defense level formatting.  Then the content is authored using the AVDA process.  Some content authored may have links to internet based content, please use common safe internet practices once entering the online world.

I'VE PLUGGED THIS IN MY USB PORT, NOW WHAT?

Depending on what type of device you are connected to, the drive will allow you access to the content in different ways.  For computers, you would open the drive as you would any external hard drive.  The read me file that is included should explain how to use it in every device you may want to use.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER?

URFlash drives, are authored in a way that should allow most Smart TV's and Blu-Ray™ players to access the content through an included media browser the device is equipped with.  To learn more refer to the devices manufacturers reference manual or website.  Xbox™ and Playstation™ gaming consoles will access the content through the Media player application (if installed) on the device.  Please refer to the console manufacturers reference manual or website if you don't know how to access the media player provided by those devices.

WHAT ABOUT THE USB PORT IN MY CAR?

URFlash drives are setup in a way to allow any audio content to be accessed by most vehicles stereo/infotainment units that are equipped with USB port(s) and support the audio file format that is embedded on the drive. URFlash uses high definition audio in Wav format as well as MP3 in certain cases. The stereo or infotainment system you are using must support one or both of these file types in order to access the content. Please refer to your owners manual of your car or stereo unit for more information on using USB for media playback.

MY DRIVE IS NOT WORKING WHAT DO I DO?

Our drives are checked for quality and performance prior, during, and after the duplication process.  While we hope this prevents all failures, technology does fail.  Please make sure you have tried the device on more than just one type of playback device.  Doing this ensures that it may not just be the device you tried to access it on in the first place.  If it just doesn't want to play nice, please contact us for further assistance.
